When a series is adapted to a different medium (such as a manga to anime adaptation), there are times when the production team changes its content or retcons the series.

This becomes an issue when the editor or coordinator is only familiar with one medium or is not familiar with it at all. Thus, they can be confused with the information found online or what is written in the synopsis. If you are aware of such differences, it is a good idea to mention this in a comment in your synopsis Google Docs document to ensure a smoother editing process.

Ultimately, information used in the synopsis will always depend on the medium, i.e., isolate the entry.
