Source Localization

When it comes to factual or content differences, the original release always trumps localization regardless of popularity.

This is an issue because it is common for foreign licensors to edit the content as they see fit. Censoring or recontextualizing is done for various reasons, from avoiding depictions of sensitive subjects to making the anime/manga more presentable to a wider audience.
