This section covers niche cases for all types of synopses.
The content of some entries does not fit cleanly into one category or even overlap into multiple types. The recommended way of writing is still to focus primarily on the content presented; if the entry involves sequel and/or prequel-type information, you may have to refer to specific details in clever ways to ensure the reader is given the proper context.
Examples
These entries are very short in length and commonly do not have a story but rather an overall theme. Writing a brief synopsis of what is being presented is acceptable.
However, avoid including elements that are more suitable for the Background Information section, such as the title of the source material, the authors' names, or in-depth details about the production.
Examples
In some cases, researching information about the process behind the production can help with writing your synopsis. Note that this is not a requirement but an option.
Examples
Taku Furukawa, the mentor of the animation's creators, is the person being animated for his 70th birthday. These are pieces of information we cannot know from the video itself, but they are crucial to identifying the main character.
However, things like the inspiration (Furukawa's old work) and the purpose (a birthday gift from his students) of this work have more of a technical nature; therefore, they belong in the Background Information section.
