One-shots are self-contained stories of one chapter or episode. These synopses are written following the standard format and should only focus on the content presented, notably the events prior to the climax. If there are characters with no given names, provide identifiers of your own to introduce them (i.e. "a high school student", "a young businessman").
It is recommended that you read the entire story before writing the synopsis. Given that these stories are shorter in length, it is perfectly normal to have a low word count.
Some manga begin as a prototype before being serialized into a full series. In the case of the prototype, write the synopsis as if the two versions are independent of each other. In addition, do your best to differentiate your synopsis from the existing synopsis of the full series and vice versa.
One-shots, prototypes, and pilot chapters can be included in other entries. As some of these may be unavailable to read, writing for them is optional. If you choose to do so, write a separate synopsis following the list format. The synopsis will be placed in the More Info section when uploaded.
