More on Romanized Titles

If the romanized title of a story is not provided on the MAL entry (either on the main entry page or in the More Info section), you will need to do some additional research to find the original Japanese title and create the romanized title that follows MAL's romanization guidelines. Do not use fan-translated titles as an alternative.
Official websites for the anime/manga are a good place to start. Online vendors such as JP Amazon, Bookwalker, and Rakuten may also have such information. If you are unable to find it from these sources, attempt to find the raw/original version. When these two methods fail, the title may be created based on the specific issue or episode the story was included in.
Please note that there are no romanization guidelines for Korean and Chinese. As such, Korean and Chinese titles that are not in the database can be determined through the series' official websites, online vendors, or created from the raw/original version of the title.
