🧐Editing Overview

Every synopsis goes through a phase of editing in the MAL Rewrite process. When the writer is done producing a synopsis, an editor will claim it for the first round of edits. After the editor marks it as ready, the writer can optionally make any edits to the modified synopsis. A coordinator will then go through the changes and either mark it ready for upload or request the writer for further corrections and adjustments.
If you are the writer of the synopsis, you cannot edit your own synopsis for the phase edit.
It is the responsibility of the editor to check for accuracy in synopses. You can use official licensing companies, Wikipedia, ANN, and other sites to cross-check information and keep an eye out for plagiarism. Be mindful that some sources are more reliable than others.
