Letica is a good-natured girl—well, as good-natured as redheads can be. In spite of her parents' jet-setting ways, she has remained a cheerful, friendly person who cares deeply for people close to her. When her parents leave for Canary Islands, this time to work with CERN, she is arranged to stay with a long-time family friend, Hino Satoshi. However, when Satoshi up and leaves too, she is forced to reside in the mansion with Duke, his son, with whom she constantly quarrels.

While Letica comes to terms with living alone with a boy, she stumbles upon new information that changes her outlook on Duke entirely. But Duke isn't the only man who can make her heart beat faster; as she meets many more attractive men with captivating voices—her biggest weakness—she finds herself getting drawn to all of them in different ways. Now, in order to find happiness and love, Letica is going to have to make some very difficult choices.

Letica is a strawberry haired, good-natured, and friendly girl who cares greatly about the people close to her. She remains cheerful despite becoming weary from taking care of her family's castle while her parents travel abroad. At the start of the series, Letica's parents embark on another trip to work for CERN on the Canary Islands. Instead of leaving Letica alone in the family castle, they've arranged for Letica to live with their long-time family friend, a monk named Hino Satoshi who lives at an old shrine atop a hill. However, Satoshi himself leaves on a yearlong voyage but not before he sends Letica to stay with his young son Duke.

Initially, Letica hates the idea of living under the same roof as a boy, so the two often quarrel. Their relationship only begins to change when Letica finds out from her fairy godmother that she and Duke were once close childhood friends. With this new information, Letica begins to see Duke in a new light and quickly falls head over heels for him. Yet at the same time, Letica also begins to realize she can't stop listening to Miki Shinichiro and that she has romantic feelings for Yoshino Hiroyuki, Sakurai Takahiro's cute younger brother. In the end, Letica chooses Yasumotoi Hiroki for his voice and the couple live at the temple, happily ever after.
